It would be great to say that the days of beige and cream paint and woodchip beige wallpaper are long gone but unfortunately my least favourite colour still seems to be de rigueur even in the most luxurious of properties ––especially in their public areas and sadly as the base for most guestrooms too. Do design firms get their supplies in bulk? Are the manufacturers colour-blind? Do colour trends run in decades instead of seasons? What the flock is happening?
