A Variopool moveable floor is custom manufactured in all sizes and are designed for all types of professional competition and recreation leisure centres, hospital and rehabilitation therapy pools, as well as for the private home pool.

One of the trademarks of a Variopool moveable floor is its floating system which was introduced in Holland in 1968. This innovative concept allows the buoyant floor to be pulled down hydraulically to its desired depth via a cable and pulley system located under the floor. This allows for greater flexibility, maximum safety and easy maintenance as all of the actuating equipment is located outside the pool and not inside the water.

Variopool moveable floor is available in three formats: stainless steel frame with buoyancy packs and a synthetic polypropylene panel anti-slip top deck; stainless steel frame with buoyancy integrated GRP polyester panel anti-slip top deck; and large glass reinforced polyester (GRP) anti-slip elements with integrated buoyancy.

It's a very useful and interesting concept and I had no idea that it has been used since 1968.
