Red Hot

Zanotta has introduced Koochy sofa, designed by Karim Rashid.
The piece may be reminiscent of 1970s psychedelia, but it is considered a contemporary piece as it boasts a steel frame wrapped in self-extinguishing polyurethane foam upholstery, a fixed internal nylon cover, and a removable exterior in fabric or leather.

What a fine example of what contemporary sofas should look like. I just love those curves.
Not to sure if this would be a feature in my living room as the colours certainly wouldn't match, but I like the curves of it and although it looks a bit hard and stiff I reckon it could actually be quite comfortable.
Maybe it is better suited for the past...say the 70's?
