New Radisson Blu Hotel Launching in Cairo, Egypt

Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the opening of one of its flagship hotels in the Egyptian capital Cairo. The new Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Heliopolis, is the company's very first in the city and signals the groups continued strategic expansion into emerging markets. This opening takes Rezidor Hotel Group's operating portfolio in the Middle East and Africa up to 36 hotels and 9,000 rooms.
The new Radisson Blu hotel is situated in the district of Heliopolis, often referred to as Cairo's "city of luxury and leisure." Dating back to late 19th Century, this suburb was created for Cairo's rich and famous, boasting a wide variety of private and recreational clubs. Located 10 kilometres from Cairo's teeming city centre, Heliopolis is a mere two kilometres from the international airport making the new Radisson Blu luxury hotel, a convenient base and an oasis of a destination in its own right.
