Millennium & Copthorne to Open Hotel in Tokyo

Millennium & Copthorne has announced the acquiring of a building in the center of Tokyo, which will be turned into a hotel. The opening of the new property is scheduled for 2014. By opening a hotel in Tokyo, Millennium & Copthorne makes its debut on the Japanese market.
The company has also hired a new CEO, Wong Hong Ren.
The property is located in Ginza district of Japan’s capital. It will be turned into a 325-room hotel with a restaurant. The complete cost of the project is estimated at US$181 million.
