Dubai-based Jumeirah Group has signed a management agreement with PT Asia Pasifik Properti to operate a luxury resort in Bali, Indonesia, which is expected to open in 2015.
Jumeirah Bali is located in the Jimbaran District and is adjacent to the New Kuta Golf Course. The resort, to be modeled after an ancient Javanese-Hindu water place, will contain 80 suites and 25 private villas. It will also include three restaurants, its signature Talise spa, business centre and a cliff-top wedding venue.
Jumeirah currently only has one Asian property – Jumeirah Himalayas in Shanghai – but another five are under development in China and one in Thailand.
