WAC Lighting has unveiled Hybrid, a luminaire that merges LED and OLED technology. Six luminaire panels, each offering an ultra-slim profile of 4.5mm, feature color changing RGB and white Organic LEDs with color temperatures ranging from 2700K to 6500K. Each OLED panel features colors that can be individually customized to the user's preference using a DMX Controller. The OLEDs deliver diffused ambient illumination and 300-plus lumens at 12 watts. At 3000K, the OLEDs' CRI (Color Rendering Index) is 80. The LED multichip within Hybrid performs the task lighting with a 12-watt downlight, delivering 557 lumens of directional light onto the surface below. The luminaire features eight crystal brackets illuminated by less energy consuming LEDs.
