GETTYS Hospitality Design Firm Announces 7 New Business Wins Worldwide

GETTYS, a leading global hospitality design, procurement, branding and development firm, has announced seven new interior design and procurement projects awarded by the world’s leading hospitality companies.
“We’re honored as these new assignments represent and recognize our continued commitment to innovative work worldwide,” said Andrew Fay, president and COO of GETTYS. “The projects are a pleasant mixture of new and returning clients and allow us to showcase our diverse background in design, procurement and branding.”
GETTYS will work with Mortenson Development and Carlson Hotels on the public space interior design for Radisson Blu Hotel at Mall of America. GETTYS will focus on the interior design of the grand two-story entry, multiple food and beverage outlets, lobby, meeting rooms, ballrooms, guest corridors and fitness areas. The 500-room Radisson Blu Hotel will be the first hotel connected by skyway to the mall. Construction on the $137.5 million new build started May 31, and the hotel is expected to open in March 2013.
GETTYS will design the Hilton Suites Times Square, which is the only all-suite hotel on Broadway in Times Square. This is one of the first Hilton Suites products and GETTYS will finalize the design conversion from the existing Doubletree Guest Suites. The design goal is to create a setting that is functional but calming as one enters from the bustling Times Square in New York City.
