The artisans of Fine Cell Work - a UK program that teaches prisoners needlepoint and then sells their work - make carefully stitched items like linens in a 12th-century style, handmade patchwork quilts, and cushions with fleur de lys designs or modern graphics.

They can also stitch to order and have taken on a number of high profile projects, most notably for English Heritage’s refurbishment of Dover Castle and have also made cushion for the Firmdale group’s Haymarket Hotel and their most recently opened Crosby Street Hotel in New York.
