Dusit Thani Maldives to Open this February

Dusit International has confirmed the opening of Dusit Thani Maldives on February 6. Surrounded by a 360-degree coral reef and lagoon, this island property is considered a landmark addition to the brand.
Located on Mudhdhoo Island in Baa Atoll, Dusit Thani Maldives is said to blend Maldivian architecture with Thai artistry.
The resort features 100 villas and residences. Beach Villas offer 141 square meters of living space, many complete with private pools. Lagoon Villas (151 square meters) feature a private deck area and plunge pool, offering a combination of beach and lagoon access. The Ocean Villas offer 184 square meters with decks featuring private pools and salas, day beds and deck chairs. Meanwhile, the premium two-bedroom Ocean Pavilions (375 square meters) and Beach Residences (564 square meters) have swimming pools and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
The resort also features Dusit's signature Devarana Spa, elevated above a grove of coconut palm trees; and the resort's centerpiece, the largest infinity swimming pool in the Maldives, a full 750 square metres designed around an ancient banyan tree.

I see resorts with their own backyard inground pools and I am impressed, but this is on a whole other level. Being surrounded by beautiful waters and the coral reef when you look out your window must be the best feeling ever. I would definitely take a holiday there, just to swim.
