1) HA+D Award Project Categories:

2) HA+D Green Plus Project Categories:

These will be judged on the most sustainable design project in each category:

Hotel Interior Design Project
Hotel Architecture Project
Serviced Apartment
Resort Project
Most Innovative Concept
Spa

A project can be entered into more than one category by paying the appropriate administrative fee for each category. All projects must have been completed between 1 September 2010 and 31 October 2011.

Judging

The awards for Project submissions will be judged by a panel of industry experts from building services, academia, architecture and interior design professions. Judging for short-listing of entries will be conducted immediately following the close of entry date and the findings will be posted on the dedicated HA+D website.  

There will also be an overall winner chosen by the judges from the short-listed entries and a summary of their comments will also be given.

 

Full payment of US$100 per submission must be paid online at time of entry. A receipt will be generated automatically and sent to the submitter’s E-mail. If you are entering several categories please follow the respective steps for each entry with the payment of the fee for each submission

 

 

 

HA+D Award for Product Innovation
HA+D Green Plus Award for Product Sustainability

HA+D Award Product Categories:

 
A product can be entered into both award categories and there is no administrative fee for the Readers’ Choice product categories. All products must have been launched between 1 September 2010 and 31 October 2011 and must be entered into each award category separately.

 

Judging for this category will be in a two-step process:  A judging panel will shortlist the top 10 products in their particular categories or the top product in its category that falls under 10 submissions will be short-listed according to a point system to allow for a fair representation of product that may include one-off entries.  Secondly the short list will be sent to the global readership of HA+D from our readers through electronic survey to the 22,000 strong HA+D database and beyond. 

 

The criteria for selection will be based upon the following:

·       Environmental Values

·       Recognised certification and applicable standards

·       Availability

·       Ease of use and installation

·       Aesthetics – good choice of pattern, colour and application

 

There will also be an overall winner chosen by the judges from the short-listed entries and a summary of their comments will also be given.

 

Winners will be permitted to use the Green Plus icon and the HA+D Green Plus Award Winner moniker on all their marketing, promotional and advertising materials for a period of 12 months following the granting of the award.

 

Awards will be presented to Winners only and to those projects that in the judges’ decision warrant an honourable mention will receive a  Certificate of Excellence.
